Leave your luggage in Bersac-sur-Rivalier and enjoy a very large family house, with a large garden of 7,000m², which offers a clear view of the countryside and the Monts d'Ambazac, particularly from the terrace on the 2nd floor of the house tower.
When you arrive you can park in a private car park, then access the entrance via a stone staircase.
We discover an elegant entrance hall and walk on authentic Limousin granite slabs. We have access to the living room on one side, which houses a fireplace, and on the other side to the dining room, with its parquet floor.
A little further in the hall, a technical room in which the electrical panel and the hot water tank powered by the pellet boiler are located, pellet boiler which ensures that the entire house is heated via a central heating network.
Opposite this room is the kitchen and its antique cement tiles, a door provides access to the large cellar, another to the terrace, then the last to the scullery as well as a toilet.
We return to the hall where we climb the wide wooden steps of the staircase, with its wrought iron balusters and delicately patinated handrail.
On the first floor, a large landing leads to 4 bedrooms with parquet floors, as well as a dressing room with window. Two bedrooms give access to a charming bathroom in the tower. A large bathtub allows you to relax while enjoying a very pleasant view of the surrounding countryside. A vanity unit completes the bathroom, and a separate toilet is located off the bathroom.
We climb the stairs again to discover the 2nd floor, passing exposed stone walls bathed in the light offered by the windows and the Velux window.
Once again, we are welcomed by a large landing which serves two bedrooms, a very large bathroom, a leisure room, and a blind room serving as an attic.
The bathroom and bedroom (currently an office) open onto a terrace which offers a striking view of the town of Bersac-sur-Rivalier, the garden and the surrounding area.
A beautiful adjoining barn of 60m² on the ground and its floor of the same surface area will allow you to store your gardening equipment and do DIY work on a very comfortable surface. The pellet boiler has taken up residence in the barn.
Back in the garden, we enjoy the terrace behind the kitchen, a well, and the vast, slightly sloping garden with trees. Facilities have been made to accommodate small farm animals. The land is closed.
Bersac-sur-Rivalier has a bakery, a butcher, a hairdresser, a primary school, an SNCF station, many quality artisans and producers and a dynamic associative network.
A stone throw away of the most beautiful hiking routes in the region.
The rest of the shops and services are available in Bessines-sur-Gartempe (8 minutes) and Saint-Sulpice-Laurière (also 8 minutes).
I will be please to listen to your project by phone, SMS, WA, Messenger and email.
